Are you interested in keeping bugs as pets? Find out what types of insects are allowed to be kept as pets and learn how to ethically care for them. Facilitator Bio:
Karlee Friesen is the Outreach Manager at the Victoria Bug Zoo. Though not a native species in Canada, Cave Spiders, or Ambilypygids, are Karlee's favourite arthropod species. They are an arachnid but not a spider, even though they look a lot like them.They use their front legs as antennae because they live in very dark environments and have very bad eyesight.
