11am-12pm: Bugs with Beth w/ Victoria Butterfly Gardens
Description
Learn all about life cycles and camouflage techniques of various insects that live at the Butterfly Gardens and in our local ecosystems. Pre-registration is highly recommended as space is limited. Facilitator Bio:
Beth Lounds is the Entomologist at Victoria Butterfly Gardens. Previously, she worked for 15 years rearing insects used for biological control. At the Butterfly Gardens, her favourite insects to work with are the Pharnacia cantori. They grow up to a foot long, and have great camouflage!
