Junior Stewards Spring Break 6-9yo March 25-28

Junior Steward March Break Camp, 6-9 year olds:

Stewardship is about creating a sense of connection, care, and responsibility for each other and the natural world that supports us. In these outdoor, hands-on sessions, young stewards will be introduced to the Garry Oak ecosystem, and then learn and practice restoration skills. Participants will learn about different ecosystems, engage in hands on restoration, take part in nature based activities and spend exploring the outdoors with our environmental educators.

Dates: Monday, March 25 - Thursday, March 28, 2024. 
Time: 9:30am - 3:30pm each day
Who: 6-9 year olds (age range is a guideline; please contact us to inquire about suitability of alternate ages).
Cost: $275 for non-members; 10% discount for members (contact us to become a member).

Early drop-off and late pick-up are available from 8:30-9:30am and 3:30-4:00pm. The cost is $10 for each half hour. There will not be formal education during these extended hours.

This program will have an indoor and outdoor component with health & safety guidelines in place. 

Please dress ready to spend the day outside, including sun & rain protection.

Bring lunch, snacks, a water bottle, and a backpack.

Participant Group Size: 10 Maximum
