Junior Steward Pro-Day Camp, 8 - 12 year olds Oct 20

Stewardship is about creating a sense of connection, care, and responsibility for each other and the natural world that supports us. In these outdoor, hands-on sessions, young stewards will be introduced to the Garry Oak ecosystem, and then learn and practice restoration skills. Participants will learn about different ecosystems, engage in hands on restoration, take part in nature based activities and spend exploring the outdoors with our environmental educators.

Time: 9:30 - 3:30pm
Who: 8 - 12 year olds
Cost: $105/non-members 10% Discount for members - If you need to drop your children off early or pick them up later, we charge $10 for each 1/2 hour and can be available from 8:30-4. There won't be formal education during these extended hours.

This program will have an indoor and outdoor component with health & safety guidelines in place.

Please dress ready to spend the day outside, including sun & rain protection.

Bring lunch, snacks, and a water bottle.
